Dr. Dima Hamideh

Dr. Dima Hamideh joined the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine on September 4, 2017 as Instructor of Clinical Pediatrics.

Dr. Hamideh obtained her MD at the Lebanese University in 2005, and completed her residency in Pediatrics at AUBMC (2005-2009). She did one year of fellowship in hematology-oncology also in the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at AUBMC (2009-2010). She completed her fellowship training in pediatric hematology-oncology at the University of Miami Jackson Health System (2010-2013).

She then completed two years of pediatric residency at Brookdale University Hospital (2013-2015), after which she obtained the American Board of Pediatrics certification. She completed a year of postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at the University of Miami (2015-2016), and a year of pediatric neuro-oncology at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Memphis (2016-2017).

She has several original research papers and publications in peer review journals. Her clinical expertise is in the management of brain tumors through novel treatment strategies including targeted therapy and immunotherapy.

Dr. Hamideh provides clinical services in the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon’s (CCCL) outpatient and inpatient services. She is involved in teaching students, residents, and fellows.
