“No child should die at the dawn of life”
4 August tragedy and the destruction it left behind has led to the disruption and/or the destruction of several hospitals in Beirut, as well as the displacement of many families with child undergoing cancer treatment.
Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) is a regional reference Center pioneering in the treatment of children with cancer at no cost. It is solely dependent on donors.
Inaugurated in April 2002, the CCCL has treated, to date, over 2000 children with cancer, with an average cure rate of 80% . The treatment usually lasts for 3 years, costing an average of 55,000 USD a year for each child.
On Friday September 11 we attempted to cycle the whole Lebanese borders in 3 days. A stunning yet challenging 545Km ride with 6290m of elevation gain.
This challenge was be dedicated to help CCCL in saving the lives of the children battling cancer in Lebanon.
We surpassed our target of $15,000 which is the average cost of an antibiotic course for a child.
Please keep donating to help us support these young heroes in their fight against cancer
The Children’s Cancer Center needs our support, now more than ever. Cancer doesn’t wait!!!
