CCCL and Ministry of Tourism Launch Eat Out For Life 2017

The Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the presence of H.E. Avedis Guidanian and the CCCL Secretary of The Board Mr. Nicolas Boukather, launched its Eat Out for Life campaign on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Eat out For Life is an initiative from the July 1st to July 31st where people can help treat four sick children at the center by eating a meal at one of the participating restaurants in EOFL, since part of the profits will be automatically donated to the center.


In his speech Minister Avedis Kedanian stressed that the tourism sector is in the service of the community and cares for its social and human issues and interact with it, especially if it is for a humanitarian purpose and especially if it’s for the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL). Kedanian encouraged people to eat in one of the participating restaurants in the EOFL campaign.

The Minister pointed out that the number of participating restaurants this year, which reached 42 restaurants, is not enough and that it is the duty of restaurants and the tourism sector to support this center and such causes.


The Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the CCCL Mr. Nicola Boukather thanked the Minister of Tourism H.E. Avedis Kedanian for his support and patronage of this special campaign. Boukather pointed out that the "Eat Out for Life" campaign in the last six years has achieved many successes, most notably the participation of a large number of restaurants in it, thanks to its "lightness and delicious invitation to discover and enjoy the most prominent restaurants in Lebanon and the easy way it gives to people to contribute in the center’s mission without any additional cost on their bills."


CCCL representative Mr. Charles Helou thanked all the people who supported this campaign and the Center, the first of which is the Ministry of Tourism represented today by His Excellency Minister Avedis Kedanian for their official patronage of this campaign, the sponsor’s “Hawa Chicken”, “Zahar Kids” and “Credit Libanais”, the campaigns supporters:  "No Garlic No Onion", "Le Gay", "Syndicate of Restaurant Owners, Cafes, Amusement Parks and Patisserie in Lebanon", "Zomato" "," Beirut Circle "," CFI "and all participating restaurants:
